iDesign worked closely with NNSA engineers at the Kansas City Plant to develop the design and specification for high performance chemical fume hoods.  The specification was unique in the approach of testing and fine tuning of the individual fume hoods to allow for system adjustments to be based upon actual field testing to reduce and optimize CFM’s and thereby reducing energy consumption, all contributing to the achievement of LEED Gold.
