In our role as an Architectural and Lab Design Technical Reviewer, iDesign was praised for our ability to review the comprehensive project documentation, including engineering disciplines.  This holistic approach was unique among reviewers, who typically focus on one discipline.  As a result, our team was able to identify items overlooked by other and identify coordination issues early in the process.

iDesign did not have the authority to accept non-compliant features, which may have been based on conflicts between University and NIH standards.  In these cases, iDesign recommended, facilitated and communicated the process for applying for variances.
